In Loving memory of Jose "Termite" Martinez

Jose Esequiel "Termite" Martinez, 83, of Pueblo, CO, went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2026. He was born on March 5. 1942. in Maxwell. New Mexico and lived a life marked by love, resilience, and quiet strength.

Joe "Termite" was a devoted husband, brother, father, and especially grandfather, who took great pride in his family. He is survived by his wife, Mary Martinez, daughters Sandra (Fred) Rodriguez, Leona (Casey) Sprague, and sons Rick (Teresa) Martinez. Joe "Crow" Martinez, Alex Martinez, and Randy (Brenda) Aragon, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his son Leandro "Londo" Martinez, his mother Albina (Earnest) Garcia, his father Esequelle Martinez SR, brother Tony Martinez, brother Ralph (Rose) Martinez, and granddaughter Amanada Martinez.

As a retiree of the CF&l Steel Mill, Joe enjoyed spending time fishing, watching his Denver Nuggets & Broncos, going to the casino anc spending time with his loved ones. Above all, Joe loved his family deeply- his presence will be missed more than words can express. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the love he shared.

A celebration of life will be held on February 21, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the American Legion, 701 West Street, Pueblo, CO 81003.
