Jose H. Baca, 85

Our Dad Jose H. Baca was called home by our Lord on August 4 th 2022. He is

survived by his wife Sarah Baca, Daughter Marylou Florez Husband Augustine

Florez, Son Joey Baca and significant other Carla Alderete, daughter Martha

Armijo and Ray Armijo, daughter in law Connie Herrera. Grand Children- Dominic

Sanchez, Fernando Sanchez, Charlene Jurado, Du Shunt Montoya, Ambrose

Montoya and wife Chelsea, Ivy Florez, Dorothy Leal and husband Jacob, Matthew

Florez Jessica Martinez, Joyce Sanchez, Brandon Baca, Alicia Maestas, Shannon

Armijo, Amber Armijo and many great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his three sons. Charlie Baca, Timmy Baca and Marvin

Baca.

Jose was born on June 19 th 1937 in Milagro New Mexico. His Father was Timoteo

Baca, mother was Eloisa Apodaca He had Four brothers and three sisters. The

family moved to Dahlia New Mexico where he met the love of his life Sarah

Aragon (Lovie Dovie). They married on April 20 th 1959 and were blessed with a

beautiful marriage of 64 years. Jose and Sarah moved to Albuquerque and had six

children. Dad was a genuinely happy and generous man. He loved to fish, camp,

sing, dance, and work on cars and was always smiling and joking. He loved his

grandkids and great grands kids to the end of the world and back. His face would

light every time he would see his grandkids. He had many nephews and nieces

that he loved so much. He worked for the City of Albuquerque refuse Department

for 25 years where he retired. He had a great work ethic and was a very hard

worker. He loved God and gave the best advice and guidance. He was a good

provider to his family and the best father figure anyone could ask for. He will be

missed greatly but we have some comfort in knowing that he is resting with Jesus.
