Jon E. Morley went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 16, 2025.
His was a life fully lived—rich with love, laughter, and generosity. He was a beloved partner, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Jon was born in Adrian, Michigan. He honorably served our country in the armed forces during the Korean conflict.
He married Sheralyn Elaine Morley. Together they had two children. In
1971, the family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jon dedicated his career to the grocery
industry, working for major chains such as Winn-Dixie, Kroger, and Walmart. Over the years,
he also owned several businesses. He was a devoted provider and unwavering supporter of his family.
He is survived by his loving partner of 32 years, Carolyn Watson; his
daughter Lisa Fickel (Kevin); his son Todd Morley (Michell); and his grandchildren Tyler,
Shaylee, and Jaydon. He is also survived by Carolyn’s daughter, Nikki McDonald (Brendan and
granddaughter Siena), and grandson Justus; his brothers Barry Morley (Eloise) and Chuck Morley (Peg); his sisters Debbie Steudle (Tim) and Kathy Sack (Greg); and many nieces and nephews. Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence (George) and Ruth Morley; his first wife, Sheralyn Elaine Morley; Carolyn’s son, Zane Watson; and grandson Breeze Watson.
Burial will take place at Santa Fe National Veterans Cemetery.
