JoJo Casaus

It is with deep sorrow and reverence that we mourn the loss of our dear brother JoJo Casaus, who peacefully passed away on June 17 2024, due to heart complications and other health challenges.

JoJo graced this world on December 31, 1948, in Jemez Springs, New Mexico, as the cherished child of Alfredo and Rosa Casaus. His memory will be etern treasured by his surviving brother Lorenzo Casaus and his spouse Carmen Casaus. JoJo also leaves behind his sisters Pina Johnson and her husband Mel Johnson, Lupe Ruiz, Debbie Ravago, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a multitude of close friends.

Throughout his life in Jemez Springs, JoJo's compassionate spirit resonated deeply with the firefighting community as he held a special place in his heart for all firefighters. His kindness and warmth will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

The void left by JoJo's absence will be acutely felt by his family and friends alike. A funeral service to honor the life of Joe Casaus is scheduled for July 12, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Catholic Church in Jemez Springs. Following the service, interment will take place at the cemetery with a reception to follow.

In honoring JoJo's memory, may we find solace in the cherished moments shared with him and may his legacy of kindness and compassion inspire us all.
