Johnny R. Lovato passed away on October 19, 2026, at Heart Hospital of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Born on February 6, 1964, in Las Vegas, NM, he was the cherished son of Ramon and Leonor Lovato.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents; siblings Chris Lovato, Roseanne Lovato, Jane Lovato Esquibel, Frank Lovato, and Yvonne Lovato; and his aunt, Angelina Jaramillo.

Johnny is survived by his brothers Joe Lovato (Helen), Salomon Lovato, Patrick Lovato (Alice), Andrew Lovato (Eileen); sisters Debra Lovato, Lucille Romero, and Lenora Lovato; aunts Mary Montoya and Flora Apodaca; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A 1981 graduate of West Las High School, Johnny was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who enjoyed following his favorite team. He will be remembered by his family and friends for the cherished memories they shared. All who knew and loved him will dearly miss him.
