John Regensberg, 93, born September 4, 1933, in Guadalupita, New Mexico, passed away on October 13, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Josephine Regensberg, and his brothers, Alvin, Stanley, Leroy, and Sidney.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Edwina Regensberg; his son, John Regensberg; daughter-in-law, Valerie Regensberg; grandchildren, Taylor McClain and Darrian Regensberg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Throughout his life, John remained highly active in his community, serving as a volunteer firefighter and participating in organizations such as the Junior Chamber (Jaycees), the Knights of Columbus, and the Elks Club.

He held a deep appreciation for the outdoors, where he felt most comfortable and at peace. Whether camping under the open sky or spending quiet hours fishing, he found joy in nature's simplicity and loved sharing those moments with family and friends.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A service celebrating John's life will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, with a reception afterward at Church of the Risen Savior, in the church banquet room.
