John J. Gonzales (Jack)

April 25th, 1941-June 27th, 2023

Jack Gonzales passed away on June 27th with his loving wife by his bedside. Jack is survived by his wife, Janet, the love of his life. He leaves behind her children Cynthia McKinley, Scott Dorcas (who was always here for him), and Troy Dorcas. As well as eight grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as "Grandpa Jack." He is also survived by a daughter, Terry.

He is preceded in death by his parents John J. Gonzales and Isabel Padilla as well as his sisters, Charlotte and Diane.

Jack was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and retired after thirty years of working for the railroad. He enjoyed watching westerns, was an avid reader and loved to go on cruises with his wife, Janet.

Jack fought a long battle with dementia, but even so, still enjoyed attending services at Sagebrush Church-he loved the long table filled with donuts each Sunday. Jack enjoyed lunches out, walks in the neighborhood and simply being home with family. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
