JoeAnn Chavez was called home on August 5, 2026. She was a devoted Christian, loving wife,

mother, grandmother, aunt and cherished member of her community. JoeAnn touched countless

lives with her kindness, her warm spirit, and the way she welcomed everyone as if they were

family.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Chavez; her sons, Ronnie Lopez, Antonio Lopez and

wife Julie Lopez, Isaac Chavez; and her daughter, Monique Chavez. She also leaves behind her

grandchildren Lorenzo Lopez, Estrella, Mariah, and Bella Chavez. Her father, Joseph Blea;

mother, Dorothy Blea; brothers, Joseph Blea, Micheal Blea; and her sister, JulieAnn Blea.

Nieces, Victoria Ratcliff, Marie Blea, great niece Laylani Ortiz, nephews Vincent, Vittorio, Veto

Chavez, great nephew Marcelino Ortiz and other beloved family members, and many friends

who will miss her deeply.

JoeAnn was preceded in death by her mother, Antonia Blea, and her grandparents Irene and

Gilbert Blea.

JoeAnn will be remembered as a person who stood by others through both the difficult and

joyful moments in life. Her home was always open, her heart was always kind, and her love

made people feel safe, seen, and valued. Though she is gone, her memory and love will live on

through all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In honor of JoeAnn’s life, her family will be comforted by the love she gave and the many lives

she touched.
