Jessie Thaddeus Garcia

Jessie Thaddeus Garcia was born on July 22, 1963, to Jake and Aurelia Garcia, and on May 11, 2025, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus.

Jessie lived his life by always helping his family to show his respect and his love for them. He followed old traditions and was always respectful and a loyal friend. Jessie was a hard worker all his life and was self-taught in his profession in stucco and building repairs. Jessie loved to fish, hunt, go camping, and all outdoor adventures, but most of all Jessie loved his Denver Broncos and was the number one fan. Jessie was always there when you needed him.

Jessie is preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Aurelia Garcia, his granddaughter Marivelle, his brothers Edward and Kenneth Aragon, and his sister Gina Garcia.

Jessie is survived by his best friend and loving partner, Vicky Montano, who stood beside him for eighteen years through all of life's ups and downs—also survived by his daughters Maria Garcia and Christina Garcia, his grandchildren, Gabriel, Marisol and Juanita and lovingly known as Grandpa “Tonto” by Naomi, Elijah, Elizabeth and Emily. He is also survived by his sisters Angie and Lisa Aragon, Diane Lucero, and brothers Elmer and wife Carol Aragon, Anthony Aragon, Ricky and wife Clarissa Aragon, and Andy and Sonia Garcia, and many, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Honored to be his pallbearers will be Andy Garcia, Odelio Robert Otero, Christopher Lucero, Elijah Aranda, Gabriel Lopez, Sergio Garza, Frank Martinez, and Manuel Jaramillo.

Prayer and Remembrance Service will be officiated by Elmer Aragon on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Trujillo Family Funeral Home Chapel, 110 Alvarado Drive, S.E., Albuquerque, New Mexico and Jessie will be laid to rest next to his “Pops” on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery at 1900 Edith, N.E., Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jessie, we love you and you will remain in our prayers and in our hearts forever. Rest in Peace, Brother.
