Jacquelyn (Jackie) Lister Liebling (nee Acra), passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on March 8 th , 2024, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico after a long battle with Lewy Body dementia. She was born August 26 th , 1939 to Charles Howard and Irene (nee Jacques) Acra in Hamilton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Howard Eugene (Gene) Acra, her son Brian Howard Foster and her husband Judge Alvin Liebling. She is survived by her brother Richard (Candace) Acra of Greensburg, IN, step sister Nancy (Ed) Williams of New Palestine, IN, daughters Christy (Rick)  Reed of Greensburg, IN, Jennifer (Joe) Chester of Albuquerque, NM, son Eric Lister of Elmwood Park, IL, and daughter-in-law Julie Kissinger Foster of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. As a young child her family moved from Harrison, Ohio to Greensburg, Indiana. Jackie graduated from Greensburg High School in 1957. She loved all school activities especially cheerleading, being a drum majorette and glee club. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, a Girl Scout leader and a Cub Scout Den mother. She worked for the Greensburg Daily News, WTRE radio and Nationwide Insurance before taking a position with Indiana Gas Company in Columbus, Indiana. In 1983 she relocated to Chicago, IL and for years was the Director of special events at the Jannes/Wrigley Mansion where she coordinated corporate events, private parties, movie shoots including Things Change and The Untouchables to name a couple. She was also a long-time real estate agent for Beliard, Gordon & Partners. In 2013 she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where she enjoyed time with her family and travelling. Jackie was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and nanna. She will be missed by many and remembered as being compassionate, fun loving, charitable and a beautiful soul that always strived to make the world a better place. Although we will miss her and our grief is unmeasurable, we take comfort in know that she is at peace and heaven is brighter by her presence. She did not want to have a service. As a means of remembering her, she would want everyone to celebrate their loved ones in their own way and to always appreciate what matters most; family. If anyone is so inclined, donations may be made in her memory to Hospice de La Luz, 3812 Academy Pkwy N NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love – but the greatest of these is love. 1Corinthians 13:13
