Bella Garcia, 87, passed away on February 4th, 2026, at her home in Albuquerque, NM after battling dementia for several years. She was born in 1938 in Raton, NM to Cesario and Magdelena Vigil. She spent most of her childhood in Albuquerque attending St. Mary’s school, then Albuquerque High School.

After high school, she Married Richard (Dickie) Garcia and were married for 40 years before Richard’s passing due to cancer in 1997. Bella is survived by her son David and his wife Janet, her son Richard and his wife Mariaelena, and her sons Steven and Robert. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A rosary will be held at St Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd, Albuquerque, NM 87114 at 10:30 Tuesday February 17th with a mass to follow at 11:15. Burial services will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd, Albuquerque, NM 87102 following her mass with a reception back at St. Jude Thaddeus after her burial.
