Hr. Manuel Jose Saiz Sr., age 67, passed away on December 19, 2025, in his home under the loving care of his family. He was born on September 8, 1958, and lived a life defined by faith, hard work, and deep devotion to his family.
Manuel was a hardworking carpenter by trade, known for his skill, perseverance, and strong will. A jokester at heart with a giving spirit, he could make others laugh even in difficult moments. Though stubborn at times, his faith guided every step of his life. He spent many years as a devoted member of La Fraternidad Piadosa de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno, and his faith meant everything to him, something he carried faithfully until his final breath.
Manuel is survived by his loving wife, Velma J. Saiz; his daughters, Monica Sevilla (Esteban Sevilla), Miranda Zitting (Mark Zitting), Marissa Saiz, Angela Sepulveda, Victoria Sanchez (Juan Sanchez), Linda Sepulveda, and Christine Sepulveda (Rick White).
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Luis Saiz, Pablita Chavez, Ruben Saiz (Isabel), and Gloria Gallegos (Leroy Gallegos).
Manuel leaves behind a large and cherished family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Erika, Edgar, Diego, Ayden, Leann, Nevaeh, Angel, Gabriel, Johna, Dominik, Emma, Mia, Chayton, Juan Andrew, Arabella, Ivory Jean, Cuberto, and Reynaldo, all of whom were a source of great pride and joy in his life.
Services will be held at Church of the Ascencion,
