Helen Laneave Conner Dansro passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 74 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Helen, the first child of Robert James and Elizabeth "Betty" (Farrell) Conner was born in New Britain, Connecticut. Helen was married to Daniel A. Dansro of Berlin, CT and was a dedicated Air Force spouse who enjoyed living throughout the Southwest and Midwest portions of the United States, though she was most excited to connect with her family roots during an overseas assignment in the United Kingdom. Helen is a graduate of New Britain High School in New Britain, CT and she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Bellevue College, Omaha Nebraska. Helen enjoyed her first job as a high school student working at the Berlin Food Mart and later at the Connecticut General Insurance Company in Harford, CT. As she moved around the country as a military spouse, she became an Assistant Vice President, Branch Coordinator at Home Federal Savings and Loan, in Tucson, Arizona, followed by The University of Kansas and World Savings in Wichita, Kansas before landing her dream job of working for the legendary Wedgwood China Company while residing in Hampshire, England. Helen retired from the workforce as Chief of Staff with the Social Security Administration in Albuquerque, NM. Helen was a voracious reader whose hobbies included tending to her rosebushes, cooking, sewing, crochet, bike riding, hiking, running, and various outdoor activities. Helen is survived by her husband Daniel and daughter Danielle. Helen is predeceased by her son, Robert Kyle, who is survived by his wife Karin and their sons Robert and John.
