Gloria Quesada was born on January 2, 1951, in El Paso, Texas, to Panfilo and Eulalia Murillo.

Gloria grew up in Santa Fe Springs, California. In 1969, she married Ramiro Quesada, and they made their home in Norwalk, California. A few years later, the family moved to Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico, where Gloria lived for many years and where her children, Alondra and Lazaro, attended school. The family later returned to the United States.

Gloria was someone who took care of the people around her. In 2014, when her daughter Alondra became ill, Gloria devoted herself to caring for her until her passing. Just four months later, Gloria also lost her husband, Ramiro. Through these difficult losses, she continued to be a source of strength for her family and took care of whatever needed to be done.

Gloria loved people and was always looking for ways to help someone. She enjoyed being active with her senior community and was deeply involved in her church, where she was always willing to lend a hand, including helping with the children. She will be remembered for her kindness, her giving heart, and the smile she so freely shared with others.

Gloria came to Albuquerque in February 2026, where she quickly made friends and visited GRIP Church. After experiencing health complications, Gloria went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2026.

She is survived by her son, Lazaro, and his wife, Valeria; her grandsons, Guillermo and Julian; her granddaughter, Kimberly; and her four great-grandchildren.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Panfilo and Eulalia Murillo; her husband, Ramiro Quesada; her daughter, Alondra; and her grandson, Ramiro Jr.

Gloria's life was marked by her love for her family, her faith, and her willingness to care for others. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
