Glenna Gene Jaramillo
January 7th, 1959 to January 18th, 2026
Glenna was born January 7th, 1959 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was the first of three children born to Charles and Cleo Stewart. She graduated from Eldorado High School in 1977.
After high school, she went on to work at First National Bank where she would meet her husband, Rick Jaramillo. She married him on August 1st, 1981. She would go on to have two girls, Tessa and Kylee.
Her greatest joy in life was being a wife and mother. That is, until she became a grandmother. She loved and doted over all of her grandchildren.
From the beginning, she carried a warmth that followed her throughout her life - a warmth felt most deeply by those lucky enough to call her family.
Glenna found joy in the simple, meaningful things: crafting with care, baking with love, and spending time with her family. She loved making memories and taking pictures that she could scrapbook and keep in her heart. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, her hands always busy creating something beautiful, and her heart was endlessly devoted to those she loved. Being a mother and grandmother was not just a role to her - it was her pride, her purpose, and her greatest joy.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Ricardo Jaramillo; her daughters, Tessa Jaramillo and Kylee Jaramillo; her brother, Charles Stewart, Jr.; and her brother-in-law, Jon Miller. She also leaves behind her sons-in-law, Charlie Baggerley and Jeremi Salazar, and her adored grandchildren: Charles Lindley, Ashlee Jaramillo, Aurora Lindley, Lotus Baggerley, and Frankie Baggerley, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Glenna’s love was steady, generous, and enduring. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her
spirit lives on in the traditions she created, the memories she leaves behind, and the family she held together with grace and devotion.
A celebration of Glenna’s life will be held sometime in April. Please feel free to contact Rick, Tessa or Kylee for more information. The date and time will be posted on Facebook and Instagram as well.
