Gerard "Mike" Michael Malone

Gerard “Mike” Michael Malone, an esteemed chemist throughout his life, was born into a loving family on September 14, 1959, in Junction City, KS. He left this world suddenly on July 12, 2023, at the age of 63 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

No words can express how much his loved ones will miss him; he was a man who could brighten up any room with laughter. Mike was also an avid lover of football, even taking a hand in helping Sandia High School win its only state championship in 1976 as a defensive end. He often expressed his love for others through cooking. He quite enjoyed listening to hard rock bands like AC/DC and Van Halen, finishing crossword puzzles, and watching Star Wars.

Mike is survived by two loving daughters, Lexa and Tori, his former wife, Diane, and his siblings, Terry, Tim, Jim, and Peggy. He was honored in a small celebration of life at 10 am on July 15, 2023, by family and friends.
