Gerald Kitt Knuckles

My beloved husband and life partner Gerald (Jerry) Kitt Knuckles who was 68 years old, was born on May 23, 1957 in Phoenix, AZ. He passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025 in Albuquerque, NM at UNMH after fighting leukemia for about a year. Jerry grew up in Las Cruces, NM with the Marshalls. Jerry often looked back at his childhood with funny stories.

In high school, Jerry played basketball, ran track, and tried football for a semester. Anything to burn up energy. Jerry was a fun-loving, caring, generous person who made an impression on everyone who had the privilege to meet him. He will be missed. Jerry was a retired member of the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters union #412. He was very proud when he received his 40-year pin. Jerry would tell me stories about his apprentices and how proud he was of them when they got it! Jerry was also proud to teach the new people ( need more women) coming into the trade.

Jerry is survived by his wife Brenda Knuckles, his son Jericho Knuckles, his step-son Dale, his brother Timmy Marshall, nephew Bobby Marshall, his sister Beverly Marshall and her family.

Jerry is predeceased by his father Claude F. Knuckles, his mother Margaret Kramer, and his parents Barbara and Cecil Marshall.

There will be a celebration of life for Jerry on September 30, 2025 at the Trujillo Family Funeral Home, 110 Alvarado Dr. S.E. here in Albuquerque between the hours of 4 p.m. And 6 p.m.
