Frank Jose Navarrete, 79, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on April 23, 2026.

Frank was born on November 19, 1946, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He proudly served his country as a United States Marine, was an extraordinary athlete in his younger years, and later retired from the City of Albuquerque.

Above all, Frank was a devoted father, grandfather, and brother who found his greatest pride in his family. He will be remembered for his strength, dedication, and the love he had for those closest to him.

He is survived by his sons, Chad Navarrete and Bryan Navarrete; his five grandchildren, Jaylynn, Hannah, Sofia, Ethan, and Amaris; his siblings, Bob, Peggy, and Linda; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Jayme Navarrete, and his siblings, Anthony and Ester.

A viewing will be held at Trujillo Funeral Home on May 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by services at Mount Calvary Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
