Frank Richard Jaure

Frank R. Jaure was born February 20, 1947 in Las Vegas, NM to Alberto & Helen Jaure. They moved to Rocky Ford, CO, where Frank grew up and graduated from RFHS in 1965. He then graduated from OJC in 1968 with an Associate in Arts. Frank then joined the Army, where he was sent to Vietnam in 1969. Upon returning back home he met and married his wife Stella. They married in November of 1972 in Rocky Ford. Frank then attended and graduated from CU in May 1974 with a Bachelor of Science. He then furthered his career with a Master of Science from Northern Colorado in 1980. Frank worked for the Migrant Program in RF, a local grocery store and Social Security Office in Greeley, CO. He moved his family to Santa Fe, NM where he began his career in the US Postal Service, until he retired. They had 2 children a son Greg and daughter Nicole. Frank was proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents, In-Laws (John & Ruth Montoya), brother-in-law Albert, Grandson Angel, and numerous aunts, uncles, extended family & friends.

Frank is survived by his wife Stella of 52 years. His son, Greg and his granddaughter Esperanza, and his daughter Nicole all of Albuquerque, NM. His brother Edward (MaryAnn) Jaure, and nephew Leonard Jaure of Swink, CO. His brother-in-laws Joe, Ed, John, and Sam Montoya. Sister-in-law Sally (Levi) Dellinger all of Rocky Ford, CO. Also, many nieces, nephews, and extended family & friends.

Frank was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and CU Buffaloes. He loved his music of various genres. He played the guitar, and he enjoyed working in the yard. He will be greatly missed and he will never be forgotten. Funeral service will be at a later time in Rocky Ford, CO, as Cremation has been commenced.
