Floripa Marie Gallegos

Floripa Marie Gallegos, a cherished resident of Albuquerque, NM, embraced her final journey on March 5, 2024. Born on October 30, 1959, Floripa leaves behind a legacy defined by her commitment to both warehouse work and homemaking. She was a nurturing mother and grandmother, extending her care not only to her immediate family but also to those connected through marriage.

Devoted to her faith, Floripa dedicated much of her time to reading scriptures and deepening her relationship with God. Her warm smile and affectionate nature endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Floripa is survived by her loving spouse Robert Vigil, sons David Gallegos, Andrew Gallegos, daughter Cassandra Vigil, brother Manuel Salazar, sister Margie Martinez, grandchildren, and a host of other family members.

She is reunited in peace with her mother Irene Gallegos, father David Gallegos, brother Edward, and sisters Lorraine, Sal, and Sophie in the eternal realm. 

A viewing and funeral service in memory of Floripa will be conducted on March 20, 2024 at Trujillo Funeral Home Chapel. The service will commence at 9:00 am followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery (1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102) at 11:30 am.  Following these services, the family invites you to join them at the Moose Lodge (2121 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102) from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

In the hearts of all who knew her, Floripa Marie Gallegos will forever hold a special place. May she find eternal rest as she departs this world.
