Faye Thomas

Faye Thomas, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on February 2, 1937, in Nashoba, Oklahoma, Faye was the tenth of thirteen children of Wesley and Matilda Bruce and was the last surviving sibling.

A devoted family woman, Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James H. Thomas; her sons, Cary Thomas and Scott Thomas; and her grandchildren, Charlie Breckenridge, Jessica Brown, and Dominic Gomez.

She is survived by her children, Jimmy Thomas, Brenda Breckenridge (Breck), Dana Hogue (Bob), and Amy Courtney (Howard), along with 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on August 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Trujillo Family Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Park.

Faye will be remembered for her unconditional love, quiet strength, and devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on through the generations she loved so dearly and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
