Eva H. Romero

October 14, 1934 – September 25, 2026

Eva passed away on September 25, 2026 at the age of 91, while at home surrounded by her loving

family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Steve W. Romero, sons, Richard Romero, Greg

Romero and daughter, Kathy Romero Rusin. Her 2 sisters Tita and Mable and 2 brothers Arthur “Junior”

and Nestor. Her grandson Gary Romero. Her parents, Arthur P. Humphrey and Socorro Humphrey.

She is survived by her youngest son, Chris Romero and wife, Vicki Romero, her 11 grandchildren and 15

great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Cathy Romero, 2 sisters, Crusita and Terry; 2 brothers, Sonny and Harold.

Eva was born and raised in Albuquerque NM and married the love of her life, Steve Romero. She was

the most loving mother of 4 children and her many grandchildren; her grandchildren adored her. Eva

had a very close relationship with her lord and prayed the rosary every single day. She will truly be

missed but she is now in the arms of our lord and savior and is reunited with her honey, Steve and her children Rick, Greg and Kathy!
