Forever in Our Hearts
Estreita Maes
March 6, 2006 – October 27, 2026
There are no words that can truly describe the heartbreak of losing someone so deeply loved. Our hearts are shattered as we say goodbye to our beautiful Estreita Maes, whose life was taken far too soon. We never imagined we would have to write these words or face a world without her in it.
Estreita was more than a daughter, more than a sister, and more than a granddaughter neice or cousin. She was a piece of our hearts. She had a caring and compassionate soul, and a heart that always had room for others. She was the kind of person who wanted to help everyone, who cared deeply, and who would give what she could to someone in need. Her kindness was a gift, and anyone who had the chance to know her was blessed to experience it.
To her parents, Alicia and Valerie, she will forever be their precious daughter, a love that can never be replaced and a bond that death can never break. No parent should ever have to say goodbye to their child. There will forever be memories, questions, tears, and a longing to hold her one more time.
To her brothers and sister, Jimmy, Diego, Star, Elijah, Carlos, and Isaac, she will always be family, a part of your childhood, your memories, and your story. No matter how much time passes, she will always be your sister. There will always be a place for her at the family table and a place for her in your hearts.
She will also be forever loved and remembered by her grandparents, Dwayne and Anna Apple, and her grandmother Gloria, along with all the family and friends whose lives she touched.
We wish we had more time. More conversations, more laughter, more hugs, more ordinary days together. We would give anything for one more moment, one more chance to tell her how much she is loved.
Although our hearts are broken, we will hold on to the love she gave us and the memories we were fortunate enough to make with her. We will speak her name, share her stories, and keep her memory alive. Her time here may have been too short, but the love she left behind will last a lifetime.
Estreita, you were loved more than words could ever explain. We were blessed to call you our daughter, our sister, and our family. We weren't ready to let you go, and we will miss you every single day. Until we meet again, may you rest peacefully.
Estreita is also preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jimmy, her mother Alicia's beloved father. Although he never got the chance to meet her here on earth, he will always be part of her family story. We find comfort in imagining that they are finally meeting somewhere beyond this world, where there is no pain, no sorrow, and no goodbyes."
Forever our girl. Forever our family. Forever loved. Never forgotten.
