Vallejos, Ernest.

Age 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday,

May 1, 2026. He was two weeks shy of his 90 th birthday! He lived a long and

vibrant life and loved his wife and family and had many friends and extended

family. He was born in Amalia, NM on May 14, 1936. Ernest was well known for

his kindness, and service to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish in

Albuquerque, NM. He was a proud retiree from City of Albuquerque and was a

lifelong and honorary member with the Rio Costilla Cooperative Livestalk

Association (RCCLA), who also enjoyed camping and fishing, gathering with

friends and family and occasional casino visits. Ernest was a devoted husband to

Anita, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. We will

miss your sound advice and loving gestures for us all. Until we see you again, we

love and honor you.

Ernest is preceded in death by his daughter, Wanda Vallejos, parents, Ignacia

and Pulidor Vallejos; siblings, Celso Vallejos, Rosalie Chacon, Gabriel Vallejos,

Gustavo Vallejos, and Glenda Vallejos.

Ernest is survived by wife, Anita Vallejos; children Mark Vallejos, Ernie Vallejos

and wife Darlene, Nora Alvarado and husband Mark, Connie Arana and husband

Gino, Erica Nieto and husband Peter; grandchildren, Jacob Vallejos (Nicole),

Matthew Vallejos (Jourdan), Kayla Gomez(Anthony), Vincent Alvarado

(Stephanie), Andrew Arana, Jesse Nieto, Shawn Nieto (Kimmy), Jarrod Arana

(Maya), Randy Nieto, Victoria Alvarado; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Marcus,

Mason and Mila Vallejos, Xzavier, Kael, Logan and Zayne Gomez, Lucia and

Jude Vallejos, and Scottie Rae Nieto; siblings, Becky Aragon, Geneva (Jerry)

Pacheco, and Laura Vallejos; and numerous nieces and nephews, whom he

loved very much.
