Emma (Lucero) Florez, age 86 of Clovis, New Mexico was

called home to be with our Lord on August 12, 2026.

Emma lived a life rooted in faith, family, love.

Emma was a, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Her family loved and cherished her. She prayed for

everyone and made everyone feel welcome in her home.

Emma is preceded in death by her late husband Ruben B

Florez of 70 years of marriage. Parents Maguin and Martina Lucero.

Her brother Mike (Beatrice) Lucero, sister Vera Ortega, her

granddaughter Susie Ochoa and great grandson Jeremiah Mestas.

Emma is survived by her brother Jose (Mary Ann) Lucero,

her sisters Mary (John) Berridge and Connie Castillo. Her

children Felix (Cindy) Florez, Ruben Florez, Diana Florez and Reynaldo Florez.

16 grandchildren, 16 Great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Emma’s legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren

and the generations that follow carrying on the values of

faith and family that she instilled in them.

Emma’s family finds comfort in knowing that she is in the

loving presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
