Eloy Andres Lopez, 38, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on August 2, 2026. He was born on November 5, 1987, to Angel Lopez and Elaine Lopez (Gallegos).

Growing up with his brothers in Albuquerque, Eloy was energetic and loved BMX racing, rollerblading, and playing ball with family and friends. His passion for music was evident, attending shows and creating his own beats throughout his life.

Eloy was talented in music and art, and his enthusiasm for the culinary arts became his career. He found peace in the company of animals and was a compassionate person, deeply loving his children and caring for his family and friends.

Despite a painful battle with addiction, Eloy's determination led him to more than two years of sobriety, driven by his love for his children. We remember Eloy for his tenacity, humanity, and kind spirit. His smile and humility will guide us through our grief.

Eloy is survived by his children, Makaveli Ryan Lopez and Melody Angel Lopez; grandmother, Eloisa Jimenez; father, Angel Lopez; mother and stepfather, Elaine Lopez and Bernie Otero; siblings, Angel (Natalie) Lopez and Mathew (Alex) Lopez; and his nieces and nephews, Santiago, Abigail, Manolo, and Marisol, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is reunited with his grandparents, Angel and Mary Lou Lopez, James Jimenez, and beloved friends who preceded him.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on August 17, 2026 at 10:00am at Trujillo Family Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
