Elisa “Liz” Clubb

January 1, 1947 – September 17, 2026

Liz passed away while at home in Seboyeta, NM surrounded by family who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother Lucy Lucero, father Alex Marquez, brother Ray Marquez and Son in law Tony Ortiz, brother in law Lloyd Garcia and Nephew, Martin J. Garcia.

She is survived by her two daughters Carla Clubb-Ortiz and Lisa Molina. Her Sister Rosalie Garcia. Her Nephew Earl Garcia and wife Joanna who cared for her the last year of her life. She is also survived by Nephew Danny Marquez and Paul Garcia, and nieces Debbie Salas, Karie Duran and husband Paul.

Liz was also loved and will be missed by many great nephews and nieces who she baby sat for many years, and they all referred to her as “Grandma Auntie Lissi”.

As a teenager she worked at A&W on Central as a car hop, later she went on to work at King Jewelers, Coca Cola Bottling Co. and Isleta Casino. She loved going to the bingo with her mom and she really enjoyed spending time at the casino. She was known for her good cooking. Liz had a gift of a math whiz to work numbers in her head without a calculator, but she will be remembered most for her quick wit comebacks that always made us laugh.
