Our “Nana,” Diana Marie Schmidt, while surrounded by her family at home, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
Diana was born on October 15, 1943, in Mesa, Arizona to Delbert and Anna Edgmon. She grew up in the Mesa-Chandler area of Arizona on a Dairy Farm with her parents and siblings: older brother Jerry, younger brother Pete, and younger sister Anita. After graduating from high school in 1962, she moved with her family to McIntosh, New Mexico. There she met the love of her life, Ronald Schmidt. They were married on April 2, 1964, and for 61 years they worked their farm and raised their family.
Nana was met in heaven by her parents, Delbert and Anna Edgmon, siblings Pete Edgmon and Anita Zielenski, sister in-law Geneva Crawford, grandson Timothy Trujillo, and many friends and family.
