Devin Jeremiah Caballero, 18, resident of Albuquerque earned his wings unexpectedly on May 26, 2023. He is survived by his beloved mother Nicole Caballero-Vega and stepfather Jaime Vega, father Matt Blackmon, loving grandmothers Patricia Caballero and Clarice Merrill, great-grandmother Maxine Merrill, close auntie Lisa and husband uncle Manuel Rodriguez and auntie Christine Blackmon, brothers Izaya, Adrian and Isaac, sister Isabella, girlfriend Mariah Jaramillo and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in which whom he all cherished.

Devin loved to play sports while he was growing up, he played YAFL football and hockey but his passion for basketball was the ultimate and he was amazing at it.

Devin was so loved by everyone, and he loved his family with everything he had. He adored his little brothers Izaya and Adrian. Devin and Izaya had such an amazing bond, which touched our hearts. Every time Devin entered a room he had the biggest, brightest smile. We will miss and love our angel for eternity, may he rest in paradise… until we meet again. 

A Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church 811 Guaymas PL NE 87108 at 10:30 am on Friday June 30, 2023.  Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park 700 Yale Blvd. SE 87106.  Reception will be announced at services.

Manuel Rodriguez, Jacob Garcia, Mikaela Garcia, Matthew Caballero, Cara Blackmon, Brandon Terrell, Martina Garcia, Fabian Ochoa, Isabella Blackmon, and Jude Corona.
