It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis “Zero” Valencia, who entered eternal rest on May 20, 2026, at the age of 65.

Dennis was born on July 12, 1960, and lived a life filled with adventure, laughter, and love. Known as “Zero,” he had a spirited personality and a way of bringing smiles to those around him. He never forgot how to enjoy the simple things in life and found joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping, creating countless memories doing what he loved most.

Dennis will be remembered for his humor, his stories, his unique personality, and the warmth he shared with family and friends. His presence brought comfort and laughter, and his memory will live on through all who knew and loved him.

Dennis is survived by his children, Antonio Cordova and Viviana Valencia and her husband, Hugo. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Christopher Valencia, LawrenceRay Cordova, D'Andrea Georgiou, and Gabriel Valencia, who will continue to carry his memory and love in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arabella and Erineo Valencia; his brothers, Mateo Valencia and Sydney Valencia; his nephew, Ernie Valencia; and his unborn child, Baby Valencia.

A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, New Mexico. Burial will follow at San Luis Cemetery in San Luis, New Mexico.
