Delbert Allen Tenorio passed away on February 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of strength, redemption, love, and unwavering devotion to his family. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend whose life was a powerful testimony of resilience and grace.

Delbert was the devoted husband of Monica Sena-Tenorio, who stood by his side through every season of life. Their love was one of loyalty and perseverance, especially during his long hospital stay during the COVID pandemic, when Monica remained by him every single day.

He was the proud and overjoyed father of his only daughter, Esperanza Tenorio. After believing he might never have children, the birth of Esperanza was one of the greatest blessings of his life. She was his heart, his miracle, and his greatest source of pride. Becoming a father brought him a joy that radiated from him and softened every part of his world.

Delbert loved music. You could often find him sitting in his car, windows down, jamming to everything from oldies to gangster rap, completely in his element. Music was more than a pastime — it was his escape, his therapy, and his joy.

Many who knew Delbert consider him a walking miracle. After battling a severe illness 5–6 years ago, his survival was nothing short of extraordinary. His recovery strengthened the faith and hope of those around him and showed just how strong his spirit truly was.

Delbert will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love for his family, his loyalty, and his ability to overcome life’s hardest battles. His story is one of redemption, perseverance, and unconditional love.

He is preceded in death by his mother whom he loved, Martha Tenorio and his sister Vera Mora-Tenorio.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Monica Sena-Tenorio, his cherished daughter, Esperanza Tenorio, sisters Connie Tenorio and Mary Tenorio-Gallegos, and his brother Edward Tenorio, and many other family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close in their hearts.

Though he is no longer physically with us, his legacy lives on in the love he gave, the battles he fought and won, and the miracle of the family he built.

You are warmly invited to join us in honoring and remembering Delbert Allen Tenorio.
