In Loving Memory of
David Charles Hoffman
June 27, 1942 – October 16, 2025
David Charles Hoffman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 83 years old.
David, born in Syracuse, New York, spent his youth playing baseball and running cross country. He moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 15 and was part of the first graduating class of Sandia High School. After graduation, he served in the Navy and was honorably discharged.
He grew up surrounded by the love of his siblings: Nancy Salas (deceased), husband Leroy (deceased), Judy Collinsworth, husband Larry, Paul Hoffman, wife Janice, Gail Trimble, husband Bob, and many nephews and nieces.
David devoted himself fully to his work and his family. During retirement, he volunteered at the Albuquerque VA Hospital, providing 8,320.5 hours of volunteer service over 16 years. His volunteer work was a quiet testimony to his generous spirit.
