Danny M. Roybal

Danny M Roybal Sr, aged 72, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away unexpectedly at Presbyterian Hospital on Friday, December 22^nd, 2023.

He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on September 5^th, 1951 to the late Santurnino Roybal and Lorina Martinez.

Danny had a profound passion for music that touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He dedicated 33 years of his life to Hotel Albuquerque, a job he held dear until his retirement.

Preceded in death by his father Santurnino Roybal, mother Lorina Martinez, stepfather Natividad Martinez, and brother David Martinez, Danny Roybal is mourned by countless loved ones.

Danny Roybal is survived by his son Danny M Roybal Jr and spouse Patricia; daughter Angela Roybal and spouse Anthony; ten cherished grandchildren: Carlos, James, Fabian, Cheyenne, Alexus, Juliana, Marissa, Destiny, Josiah, and Genesis; two great-grandchildren: Carlitos and Briella. His surviving siblings include Rudy Martinez; Mike Roybal and spouse Mary; Tony Martinez and spouse Ellie; Ramona Lopez and spouse Nemecio; Loretta Gallegos; Gloria Flores;
Natalie Sena and spouse Eddy. He also leaves behind nephews,nieces,a godson Joey Martinez,and a goddaughter Rosemary Gonzales as well as many dear friends.

A visitation for Danny M Roybal Sr will be held at Trujillo Family Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 8^th from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 9^th, at 9:30 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, followed by the Christian Burial Mass at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

The pallbearers for Danny M Roybal Sr will be Mike Roybal, Fabian Roybal, Tony Martinez, Eddy Sena, Anthony Carbajal,and Joey Martinez.
James Lucero and Josiah Carbajal will serve as honorary pallbearers.
