Damyan Anthony Baca

January 13, 1995 – August 10, 2025

Damyan was the beloved son of Karen Cata-Perez and Viktor Perez, and of Angelo Ortiz. His greatest joy was his daughter, Raelyn Serenity Baca, and he shared a new kind of love that he had never experienced before with his girlfriend, Ciera Bobadilla. He is also survived by his siblings: Dorian McGinnis (Miah, Ersy, and Hara), Deaven (Stephanie), Draven, Danicalynn Perez, Susie Sedillo (Kailybug and Tiny), Angelo Jr. (Anjelica), Ambros, and Angelita Ortiz.

He will be deeply missed by several grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a abundance of friends who will forever remember his smile, his spirit, his hugs, and the love he gave so freely. Above all, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who experienced his energy and the children who were drawn to his warmth and whose lives he touched with his boundless affection.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 3:00–4:00 PM at Trujillo’s Family Funeral Home, 110 Alvarado Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.

Immediately following, a Celebration of Life will take place at the Loyal Order of Moose, 2121 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the remarkable life of Damyan “Fluff” Baca.
