Christine Greene

Christine Greene gained her angel wings on September 3, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 86.

Christine’s life would seem too short to many, but to those of us who were blessed to be touched by her love, understand that she has left a forever imprint in our hearts and in our memories. The quantity of time that she was able to bless us will always be unforgettable. Her German heritage, combined with her courage, wisdom, compassion, and much more, showed why she will forever be the Greene family Matriarch.

Christine was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a master of cooking large meals in a short amount of time, very talented at completing large complex puzzles, an avid gardener ensuring her Sunflowers and Rose bushes were maintained from season to season, as well as her outstanding baking abilities. Her favorite hobby was watching the birds in the tree’s and the butterflies landing in her beautiful butterfly bush. Christine also loved and cared for her Parakeet’s, Twiz the families water turtle and for Ms. Phoebe a Service Dog who equally adored and loved her.

One of her most honorable achievements was her commitment to her family and friends.

Christine is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild. She has been lovingly reunited with her husband and her eldest daughter.

Services will be held at Trujillo Family Funeral Home on Friday, September 26th, 2025 followed by a Burial Service at the Santa Fe Veterans National Cemetery.
