Christine Marie Benavidez, 77, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026.

Christine was born on July 21, 1948, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a lifelong New Mexican who will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Susie Martinez; her brother, Johnny Martinez; and her sister, Rosemary Alexander.

Christine is survived by her loving daughter, Denise, and son-in-law, Christopher; her son, Chris Benavidez; her grandchildren, Paul Benavidez, Ashley Vigil, Elizabeth Vigil, Samantha Dominguez, and Christopher Benavidez; and her great-grandchildren, Carlos Vigil, Nevaeh, Christopher, and Jeremy Benavidez, Sophia, and Elijah Rael.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
