Charlotte Ann
Davis Gonzales
Oct 9, 1963 — Sep 30, 2026
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Charlotte Ann Davis Gonzales;
lovingly known as Char. She passed away surrounded by family at the age of 62, on September 30 th in
her home town of Albuquerque; leaving behind a family who loved her dearly.
Char was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, suegra,
and friend whose life was filled with laughter, love, and family.
Char was known for her wonderful sense of humor, her unforgettable laugh, and the
unconditional love she had for her family and friends. She had a way of bringing laughter into the lives of
those around her and her love for her family was a bond that could never be broken. To those who
knew and loved her, she was more than a daughter, mother, sister, or friend; she was part of their
hearts, their memories, and their lives.
Her greatest legacy is the family she leaves behind. Her love for her family was deep and
unwavering. The bond she shared with them will continue to live on through generations.
Throughout her life, Charlotte, experienced the heartbreak of losing many loved ones who went
before her. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmothers, Soledad and Celia, her sister,
Rosanna, her brothers Nick and Eric, and her niece, Breann.
Charlotte leaves behind her loving parents; Nick and Amelia Gonzales, sisters; Monica (Jimmy)
Kalivoda and Liz Hackett, her three daughters; Jessica (Gene) Montoya, Jayne (Orlando) Archuleta, and
Cierra (Jackson) Vandeventer, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; partner, Dominic Griego, as
well as extended family members and dear friends.
Though her family must now face the heartbreak of another goodbye, Charlotte’s laughter will
echo in their memories, her love will remain in their hearts, and her presence will forever be felt in the
family she cherished so deeply.
