Charles (Chuck) Edward Collins, beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend, passed away on November 19, 2025. He was with his sister Ginger Pennell and friends in Albuquerque, NM. Chuck, as he was affectionately known to those close to him, will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to have known him. Chuck was born into a large family on June 1, 1961 in Hobbs, New Mexico. As the sixth child of Bill Gene Collins and Shirley Ann Doucet, he grew up in a household filled with love and laughter. From an early age, Chuck had an insatiable passion for music, old vehicles, harleys and a zest for life that was infectious and inspiring. His knowledge of day to day life and to help whoever needed him drew people towards him effortlessly; he had the remarkable ability to strike up conversations with anyone he met with his wide range of knowledge and passion, and soon considered them lifelong friends. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Chuck Collins. He leaves behind cherished memories and a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to have shared in his journey. Chuck is survived by his devoted eldest sisters Bonnie Sullivan of Anaheim, CA, and Ginger Pennell of Albuquerque, NM, and as well as his youngest and only remaining brother Jake Collins of El Paso, Texas. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law Timothy Sullivan and sister-in-law Cathy Collins. Chuck will be fondly remembered by his three nieces, three nephews, three step sons, and eight great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held to honor Chuck's life in late January 2026 in Albuquerque, NM. Please join us as we gather to celebrate the life of this remarkable individual who touched our hearts with his infectious joy and unwavering friendship.
