In Loving Memory of Catherine Rudence Benavidez Camden

February 3, 1951 – August 25, 2026

Catherine “Cathy” Rudence Benavidez Camden, was born on February 3, 1951, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, On August 25, 2026, at the age of 75, she peacefully went home to be with our Lord and Savior. Surrounded by love after returning home on hospice care.

Cathy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a woman of deep and simple faith. She loved her Sunday services and carried God with her in the way she lived, loved, worked, and cared for others. She had a heart that made room for everyone and a love that never made anyone feel forgotten or left behind.

She lived her life with a beautiful simplicity, always reminding those around her to slow down, appreciate life’s blessings, and cherish the people God placed in their lives. Her presence was contagious.

Cathy leaves behind her beloved husband, Ronald Camden; her son, Ronnie Camden; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brothers and sister; her aunts; her nieces and nephews; and countless loved ones who were blessed to know her.

On the morning of August 25th, Cathy peacefully went home to be with our Lord and Savior.

Her love, faith, laughter, and the simple lessons she taught us will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
