RIP Betsy Jane Fox
10/12/1937 - 5/22/2025
31,999 days from birth to death.
What I can say is she was a pillar of strength. As the wife of a career Air Force (Senior Chief Master Sargent), she held the family together for every PCS move, every TDY without Pa. Heading up youth groups all over the world. She was a Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and a Great-Great Grandmother. She was a beautician, seamstress, breeder of Miniature Daschounds, Shelties, and shepherds. Designer and creator of many cakes, as well as my sister's 1st wedding cake. She was a seamstress. She was excellent at ceramics and created many beautiful pieces that I will treasure. She became a Medical Assistant and worked for a Vet and then went on to become an LPN. By the time I graduated from High school, she had graduated as an RN. Later years, she was always taking some course or a seminar. She became a licensed Legal Nurse Practitioner to be able to testify in a court of law for the mistreatment of her patients. She was a businesswoman for the women who required specific undergarments for unique conditions, and she made her customers feel good about themselves and what they were doing and feeling. Her patients were absolutely her finest treasure, and many were lifelong friends, and their family members were also treasured friends. I know she went around the world at least twice while I was growing up. She had a lot of physical struggles and maintained a positive attitude through some truly frustrating times. It is with gratitude that I mention my deep gratitude and affection for her best friend and sole sister, Majella Daigle . God truly gave us a gift when he put you in our life. Thank you.
Good night Mama. I love you still, and until God takes me home, I will miss hearing you say "I love you"
