Bessie Duran Perez (born Maria Vicentita) of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026

with her family. Bessie loved music and especially loved to dance, she learned to love music early on as

her father was a talented musician. She was a very dedicated Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sister and

Aunt. She is survived by her husband Adelberto “Jose” Perez, her children Adan and Christopher Perez.

Her grandchildren: Cristiano Perez, Charlotte Vincent, Francisco Perez, and great granddaughter Rowan

Williams. She is also survived by her Brothers and sisters, Margaret and Fred Gill, nephew Alan, and wife

Aleisha, Irene, and Henry Smith and nephew Nicholas, John Duran, Gloria Duran, and niece Sonia, and

husband Ruben Gomez daughter Sophia, nephew Carlos, Arthur and Cathy Duran, nephew Jonatha,n and

wife Emilly Sewell, nieces and nephews Ava, Wesley, Aaliyah, and Hunter, nieces Alisha and Marisa, Emily

and Daniel Laxson nieces Sara and Rachelle, David and Bernadette Duran, niece Jennifer, and husband

Nicholas Mather, children Mia and Jade, and nephew AJ.

There will be a Rosary on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at 10:30, a Mass at 11:00, and a celebration of Life to follow the Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1860 Griegos RD NW in Albuquerque.
