She lived in Central New York for several years in Syracuse, Manlius, and Chittenango for many years. Where she held many different positions such as cashier, caregiver and waitress. Her 1st husband was Bradley Wilson, the father of her 3 sons Todd, Bryon and David Wilson. In the early 1980s she moved to Florida, where she lived in Jacksonville, FL. There she was the activities director of a nursing home. She later moved to Zephyr Hills FL, where she worked as a caregiver for the developmentally disabled.

She was an advocate for legal issues like the adoption of Todd & Michelle’s children and the custody battle for David’s children. Her involvement was the bedrock of our families. She moved to Seymor TN to be closer to family. There she continued working with the developmentally disabled. She and her partner Jim reconnected after many years. They lived in Groton NY, and they both enjoyed the land that they shared together. while she again continued her work with the developmentally disabled. She and Jim moved to Albuquerque NM a few years later. Over the years she frequently traveled to visit family in New York, Wisconsin, Tennessee and Florida

She had many bouts with illness and more than a few accidents, but was resilient enough to bounce back. She resided in Albuquerque NM until her passing this November. She had many interests and enjoyed many hobbies: painting, crafts, interior decorating, crochet, card, word and number games. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed embellishing her scrap books and photo albums to make them more personal and fun. Her faith had always been an influential part of who she was, and her church families were always like a second family to her. She had a passion for serving the developmentally disabled and it was a lifelong endeavor for her to continue that work through out her entire life across multiple years and locations. Rest in Peace.
