In Loving Memory of Barbara J. Conley

July 29, 1960 – July 20, 2026

Barbara J. Conley, age 65, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, in Albuquerque, New

Mexico.

Born on July 29, 1960, in Evanston, Illinois, to the late John F. Conley and Virginia Babbitt,

Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth, strength, and

gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She dedicated 33 years of service to Ardent Health

Services (and its preceding companies), where she was deeply respected and loved by her many

co-workers and lifelong friends.

Barbara’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her loving son, Stephen A.

Conley (Cassandra), and her two cherished granddaughters, Cataleya Conley (age 5) and

Camila Conley (age 1), who brought immeasurable light to her life.

She leaves behind a legacy of deep family bonds. Barbara was blessed with a very special sister

in life, Leann B. Brawley, who was steadfastly by her side always. She is also survived by her

sisters, Cynthia Peters (Paul) of Marengo, IL, and Mary Simmons (Jerry) of New Braunfels,

TX; her brothers, William Conley (Linda) of McHenry, IL, and James Conley (Pam) of Twin

Lakes, Wisconsin; as well as many, many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, John F. Conley (survived by his wife, Sandra); her

mother, Virginia Babbitt (survived by her husband J. Kent Babbitt); and her beloved brothers,

Daniel Conley (who passed at age 15) and Patrick Conley (who passed at age 38; survived by

his widow, Mary).

Her family and friends will forever cherish her memory, her unwavering love, and the kindness

and beautiful smile she brought into the world.

Service Details

A Memorial Service will be held at Trujillo Family Funeral Home, 110 Alvarado Drive SE,

Albuquerque, New Mexico 87108 on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
