On Wednesday , February 26, 2025, Anthony Tapia a loving father, grampy, and brother, Uncle, and friend passed away at age 63.
Anthony Tapia was born February 15, 1962, in Albuquerque, NM to Miguel and Esther Tapia. Anthony is preceded in death by his son Richard Miguel Tapia, Parents Miguel and Esther Tapia, and his brothers and sisters and nephews. He is survived by his daughter Antoinette and son-in-law Rudy, and granddaughters Fayth, Precious, Hope, and Ivonnie. Grandsons: Eugene and Jordyn Marquez Stepkids Desiree and Eugene Marquez. Sisters Nellie, Helen(Dave), Charlotte (Richard) Brothers Oliver and Randall (Theresa). GodDaughters Virginia and Crystal. And many nieces and nephews.
Anthony Tapia was the baby of 12. He was the peacemaker of the bunch. He loved all his brothers and sisters equally and created unique bond with each one. He had many nephews and nieces he loved no matter what he was there. Anthony was the greatest father he was always there no matter what. He held that title proudly.
Anthony Tapia was the life of the party every where he went he was always full of energy laughing and cracking jokes all the way up to his ending days. He was a fighter he fought until his last breath. He always welcomed everyone with loving arms and without judgment. He would give his last dollar and the clothes off his back to someone in need. A heart of gold he was a one-in-a-million kind of man. Whoever came across him left with a smile on their face, a good laugh and a lifetime memeory. His love for basketball and music and dancing man did he love dancing and singing to his oldies Brenton wood to be exact. He loved life with his grandchildren they were his best friends in life. He lived a good life. He kept his good spirit of battling stage 3 cancer. He lived life to his full potential and he did it happily.
