In Loving Memory of Anthony Alexander Sanchez

April 2, 1970 – April 4, 2026

Born in Los Angeles CA to Richard and MaryHelen Sanchez. Anthony grew up in Whittier CA

until the family moved to Albuquerque NM in 1981.

Anthony was a devoted son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend and most of all uncle. He is

survived by his mother, MaryHelen Sanchez, his sister and brother in-law, Mary and Tom

Mascarenas and his favorite and only niece Marissa Layne Mascarenas. Numerous aunts,

uncles, cousins and friends and his service dog Lilly who helped his with mobility.

He spent many years as a service technician, he worked for the phone company, fixing

payphones, then soda machines for Pepsi and lastly fixing ATM’s all around the city of

Albuquerque.

He spent 6 years as a AYSO soccer coach, where he coached his niece, Marissa. He loved playing

the piano, singing, watching his favorite Football team, the San Francisco 49’s. He loved MMA,

Ghost Adventures, Pink Floyd and Michael Myers.

He never gave up, not once. He was always in pain, but he always looked to the future. He will

be truly missed and deeply loved.
