Amada Ramirez, age 92, born in San Marcos, Texas on December 7, 1933 to the late Ysaias and Epifania Olvera, passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2026.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she dedicated her life to her family and faith. She is survived by her daughter Marisela and husband Manuel Cabral of Albuquerque. Grandchildren Michelle Lucero, Amanda and Beto Cabral, and great-grandchildren Cherish Lucero, and Briella and Sebastian Cabral. She is also survived by sisters Nora Camargo of Sherman, Texas, Juanita Coy of San Marcos, Texas, and Irene Camacho of San Marcos, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Raul Ramirez, daughter Rose Lucero of Albuquerque, NM, and sisters Cecilia Olvera and Maria Alicia Torres both of Lubbock, TX.

Services will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, Albuquerque, on Monday, October 5th. Rosary will be at 8:15 am and Mass at 9:00 am. Interment will be at a later date.
