Alice Lucero Trujillo was born on December 26, 1938, to Elias Trujillo and Sarah Sanchez Trujillo. She was the eldest of four children and a lifelong resident of Corrales, New Mexico, where her family's roots ran deep through generations.

Alice is survived by her devoted husband, Bernie "Jr." Lucero, and her daughters: Lydia Montes de Oca (Al), Anna Maria Cordova (Leroy), and Ellen Franco (Armando). Her legacy includes six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother and sister, Joe and Dorothy Trujillo, sisters-in-law Erlinda Salas and Martha "Chanita" Garcia, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A dedicated stay-at-home mother, Alice poured her heart into her family, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and faith. Her passion for nurturing family connections was evident in the way she planned gatherings and ensured her daughters remained close.

Alice's life was deeply woven with faith. She joyfully served in her church's children's ministry and was a founding member of the Three Angels Seventh-day Adventist Church. Her faith endured even through the challenges of dementia, remaining visible in her acts of love and care for others.

She cherished the simple joys of God's creation, finding delight in gardening, fishing, singing, and playing the piano. Known for her sense of adventure, she was always ready for spontaneous trips with her husband and family. Her dedication to health through nutrition and cooking left a lasting impression.

Alice's adventurous spirit was matched by her capacity for creating treasured memories. Her family cherishes these stories—funny, sweet, and full of love. Her influence persists through the traditions and tales passed down through generations.

Despite the challenges of her final years, Alice's laughter and love shone through, a testament to her enduring spirit. Her family holds dear the promise of reuniting with her in the presence of Jesus, as described in Scripture.

Loved, missed, and remembered, Alice Lucero Trujillo left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her family draws comfort from the promise of resurrection and the hope of being together again in love and faith.
