Alfred Eric Nieto, age 62, passed away on September 7, 2026, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Alfred was born on January 7, 1964, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Ruben Nieto and Bessie Gonzalez Nieto. He made his home in Placitas, New Mexico.

Alfred lived a life centered around faith, music, family, and the people he loved. As a pastor, his faith was an important part of who he was, and he dedicated himself to sharing that faith with others. Music also held a special place in Alfred’s heart and was a beautiful expression of his spirit. His music, laughter, and presence created memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Alfred will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Erica Nieto, along with his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched throughout the years.

Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Alfred’s life on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Trujillo Family Funeral Home, 110 Alvarado Drive SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87108. A reception will immediately follow the service.
